As far as I know, I’m the only one that has written a song named after Alice. If you are a real Alice Cooper fan, you will know that I crafted the lyrics and a lot of the lyrical images to do exactly what Alice was so brilliant at, and it was painting a storyline in your mind.

Just finished mastering a new single. I am really in awe of simplicity that I am writing at lately. I really feel like Through the Recursion was such a way serious of an album last year. It had to be put out because those thoughts are still trickling down into almost everything I am heading towards in 2027.

I REWROTE Pulling Through the night before I went into the studio (Spring 2004) to record the vocals because I had so many things to say about where I saw the world heading at that time. I didn’t have time to sit down and create a whole new song, so I comomdered Pulling Through and BOOM the song Psychopathic Issues was born!

Nearly 3:AM …just finished mastering what will probably be my last album for a while. Maybe my last full album in general. I will always write music. That’s the best way for me to deal with my life, my thoughts, fears, and messages to anyone that has an ear. It’s how anyone who knows me can get to my final refined thoughts on a matter.

Just got finished remastering Psychopathic Issues for the 20th anniversary of it’s release! It will be released under the Aketous band name. I haven’t altered the mix itself AT ALL. But it we did do a lot in shaping and sharpening in the sound. I never cared for the original master or Thief of Hearts for that matter.

I am halfway through listening to Jackie Blue for the first time as a whole work since we had it mastered. I really feel like this is probably going to be the best album I have ever recorded. It may be even better than the album I’m currently working on. I’m going to really have to step it up on my writing to top this.

I really fell like Jackie Blue is the logical follow up to Rubicon. I still had some lingering angst from Back This Way because I just love that song so much and I really wanted to continue that theme. I think We Are Forever helped me close that thought and helped me lead into some more playful stuff like Badlands.
