“Touch My Soul” is a vibrant, high-energy duet that serves as a love letter to the golden era of 1970s piano-pop. Drawing inspiration from the infectious chemistry of Elton John and Kiki Dee, the track features a driving “walking” bassline, triumphant horn arrangements, and a lyrical sincerity that feels both nostalgic and refreshingly new.
Trust Someone was written by Darren Farris initially in 1997. Darren recorded the first demo with Ross Hanover in 1998. Ross was a bass player for Parliament and many other legendary acts over the years. Although other demos were recorded over the decades Darren still felt like he was not getting the right sound for the track. This release captures the full spy chase, cinematic, hero scene Farris had always dreamed of.
