This was my first webpage. I think I did this in 1999? I found it on my old Win95 machine with a lot of other embarrassing things- but, laughable. I think I posted it on Angelfire or GeoCities or something. You have to be a mega-nerd to remember that. All I remember is how cool I thought it was that anyone from around the world could see something I made.

I see I was listening to online radio. Wow. I remember how cool I thought that was too. SHOUTcast was a new thing. Now of course everything has been REGULATED to practically ruin the online radio experience. It was so cool to listen to some dude broadcasting what he wanted to play from his basement.

The main reason I reopened darrenfarris.com has little to do with wanting to re-imagine a musical statement. I just have no interest in bringing attention to ME. As an individual I am SUPER uninteresting and have NO MESSAGE for anyone other than my kids. I basically was FORCED to revisit myself in this way.
