There is always some different truths to every song (at least the ones I like). I can see the idea of setting something/someone “free” and if it is true, real or ready to progress to the next level- it will come back to you…

Ain’t Nobody’s Business If I Do
Songwriters: Everett Robbins / Porter GraingerIf I should take a notion
To jump into the ocean,
‘T’aint nobody’s business if I do, do, do!
If I go to church on Sunday,
Then just shimmy down on Monday,

M knows me so well. I don’t keep up with celebrities. She knows though when it’s someone I really like. One of the earliest songs I remember was Let Me Be There. there is so much “unearthed” and buried music sitting in garages, attics of old pubs all over the world. I want it ALL! Thank the music gODs for youtube and the internet capturing some of it for postarity. Not everyone ended up being the Doors or Leo Sayer (

Most top session guitarists I know, the ones that aren’t singers at all- or minimal, sincerely appreciate lyrical based music. They get their biggest thrill out of following the vocals and seeing what they FORCE the strings to do. That is one of the secrets to those songs that get STUCK in your mind and SOUL! Such a beautiful song from an album I bought my senior year in high school. I think I would just FFW to the song and rewind it and play it over again and again.

WARNING! For me, this song would bring on feelings of melancholy because of the aesthetics of the recording. So if you have no problems “bouncing back” or just aren’t “wired” that way you should be fine.
