At best it’s a distraction- I know. But I like to see the personalities argue with each other over stupid mess. There are children literally getting their water from a mud puddle on planet Earth in 2022; and westerners get all bent out of shape over their First World grievances. They are so lucky I can’t magically swap people’s living conditions.

I promise to start posting blogs! It’s just that micro-blogging is just sooooo easy with my schedule!!!
I can see why people get addicted to social media. But I do NOT condone it.

Most top session guitarists I know, the ones that aren’t singers at all- or minimal, sincerely appreciate lyrical based music. They get their biggest thrill out of following the vocals and seeing what they FORCE the strings to do. That is one of the secrets to those songs that get STUCK in your mind and SOUL! Bass guitar- not so…Read More

Elephant in the room: Cybill Shepard seems to have developed her Southern accent back. I know she was originally from Memphis TN, but I never picked up any Southern dialect from her onscreen. Weird things like this interest me. Did she move back to the south and the accent returned? Was she so great of an actress that she could mask her Southern…Read More

Nano cell nuclear battery technology can take humanity places it could only dream about- in space and the inner-space. There are so many things within our own planet that have yet to be discovered. Like the brain, we are using less than 10% of Earth’s capacity. This planet was built to EXPLORE!

Such a beautiful song from an album I bought my senior year in high school. I think I would just FFW to the song and rewind it and play it over again and again.

WARNING! For me, this song would bring on feelings of melancholy because of the aesthetics of the recording. So if you have no problems “bouncing back” or just aren’t “wired” that way you should be fine.

I was a teenage runaway. Probably the most uncool thing for a teenager to be in the 80s, at the same time I wasn’t alone. I remember this song really helped me out a lot when I came back home. It’s dated now, but I think it still speaks to us, the ones who never fit in /anywhere/. YOU ARE NOT ALONE.

There’s a genre of music called “sad girl pop“???
Thank God my generation had female musicians like Tina Turner, Aretha Franklin, Belinda Carlisle and Pat Benatar (etc). Not a sad girl in the bunch!
Teen suicide became an epidemic about the same time “sad girl pop” came on the scene a few years ago. But, what do I know, I’m neither a girl-…Read More
