This resurfaced for me when we drove to cross country this summer. Sometimes a song you haven’t hear in ages just comes back in just the right moment. We were about 80 miles out of Winslow and it was just a thrill to be on that open road headed back to L.A.

You can get great quality sound from machines a lot less expensive. Make sure you have a great needle, know how to maintain it and have decent monitors and pre-amp. Just a little effort in your SETUP can make ALL THE WORLD when listen to vinyl. The P8 is just gorgeous.

I wanted to have Steve Mcqueen in the lyrics of Nobody But You, but I couldn’t find any aspect of his life that really represented a quality within my own life- at the time. I tried to make it work in the Bret Maverick part, but it would mess up my balancing off fictional characters and “real” public personalities. #NobodyButYou
