L.A. is so full of “networkers.”

It’s just slimy to me. They are like the same guy/gal in a different body. As soon as someone asks you “what you do” and you have only known them for 2 minutes, you can be sure they are trying to figure a way that you can benefit their interest. So many NPCs.
