Liberace was a class act- from the beginning of his career to the end. He was still very popular when I was a kid. When you listen to his records, you feel like he is really in the room with you. Such a fantastic showman he was. Besides Floyd Cramer, he is the only pianist I can INSTANTLY recognize because of his distinct styling.
