I was able to meet Carl Perkins twice back in the late 80’s. I spoke to him one of those times. I was a teen and a goofus, so I really had no idea how cool it was ( Grrrr! ) but I was a huge Elvis fan so it was a thrill to me for all the wrong reasons. He was so VERY soft spoken and REAL. He was defiantly larger than life in presence. He was a GENTLEMAN ROCKER! I will try to post the story in DF Journal.
