I am still like that. I don’t watch Netflix or any streaming. I will go upstairs to say something to Ash and she will be watching something and I will just sit on the edge of her bed and watch a few minutes, glued in amazement of how things have changed.

I am saving TV for when I am old and chair bound. I think its perfectly honorable to DIE a couch potato as long as you didn’t live as one. If I am awake, I have to be productive or I will go mad. I just can’t sit and watch TV like I did when I was a kid. When I was a kid I thought all I would ever do is want to watch TV all day when I was grown. I also said I would have soda fountains and no drink water!

BTW in 1990 I was still in high school and we NEVER had cable. The only time I saw anything outside of ABC, CBS, NBC, PBS and UHF 24 was when we went on a road trip and stayed in a hotel or when I visited a friend. My eyes were glued to the TV because it was so cool to have all those channels! And they never appreciated it!
